Global Premier of New Linkin Park Video “The Catalyst” August 26

Through their official website (www.linkinpark.com) LINKIN PARK has announced the worldwide MTV/ VH1 premiere of the video ‘The Catalyst’ on August 26th 2010. The video will premiere on MTV, VH1, MTV2, mtvU, MTV Hits, MTV Tr3s and all MTV international territories, (MTV, VH1 and MTV2 at 8:00pm primetime PST /EST). It will go online globally at MTV.com and VH1.com at 12am EST on the night of August 25th. The channels and websites will begin airing a 30 second clip of the video as well as exclusive shots from the video shoot leading up to the premiere.

Porcupine Tree Joins Coheed and Cambria For U.S. Tour Dates In August

Porcupine Tree’s Second Live Concert DVD, ‘Anesthetize,’ Out Now

This summer, UK art-rockers Porcupine Tree will join up with Coheed and Cambria for a 12-date co-headlining U.S. tour that kicks off at the Hollywood Palladium in LA August 12 (tickets on sale to the public Friday, June 25). It is the third round of U.S. touring for Porcupine Tree since the top-25 debut of “The Incident” (Roadrunner) last September.

These shows also continue the momentum that Porcupine Tree has built up over the last several months. At Coachella, the NY Times praised the “progressive rock virtuosos’ ” performance while the Wall Street Journal raved that Porcupine Tree “attacked [their] compositions with ferocity.” Porcupine Tree’s North American spring tour sold out, and they have already sold out their October show at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
