“Paul Reed Smith has been taking care of me since 1995. They are still my main workhorse instrument. Whenever I play my own instrumental guitar stuff (from my CD) I use PRS. They have everything for me; they have humbucker pickups, but you can split the coils…tremolo arms that work real well and 24 frets.”

Godfrey Townsend is a New York based musician who has worked with many of rock music’s most influential names. In the past decade alone, he has performed nationwide with: John Entwistle, bass guitarist of The Who, Jack Bruce, bass guitarist/vocalist of Cream, Dave Mason, guitarist/vocalist of Traffic, Alan Parsons, producer/engineer/recording artist. Godfrey Townsend has appeared frequently at BB King's Blues Club in New York City's Times Square, both with major artists and with his own band. He has appeared there and performed to sold-out crowds with his annual birthday tribute to Eric Clapton for the past 8 years.
