Orianthi’s Album Debut “Believe” Available Now
Orianthi Also Featured in Michael Jackson’s Documentary “This Is It” in Theatres October 28
Carlos Santana’s female protégé Orianthi appeared live performing with a PRS Custom 24 on Good Morning America Tuesday, October 27 and on MTV later that afternoon in support of her new album release “Believe.” Work on the her debut album began prior to being invited to perform on the Michael Jackson tour, and is now finally complete. Orianthi is described as “packing modern girl-power punch into every turn of phrase, but it’s the shredding that takes her brand of rock to an entirely new level. The result: a thunderous, hook and riff driven debut that sounds larger than life.” Consider this a 2009 take on the The Runaways’ Joan Jett.
Orianthi posed for the cover of “Believe” holding a whale blue Custom 24 completely covered in Swarovski crystals. The guitar was custom made for the Michael Jackson tour and was nicknamed “MJ” by Orianthi.
