What a tough one. One of my biggies wasn't a choice; the 245. I have no family, but this reminds me of the old thing about 'which of your kids is your favorite?'.

My fav changes with my mood. It's tough to select just one, which is why I chose 3. :D HFS/VB when I'm feeling hard core, 57/08s when beauty and sophistication are on call, and P-90s when I feel like a bada$$. ;)

I love the 53/10s and ordered my most recent guitar with them.

But I voted for the 57/08s, as I actually think that for an all-around, general purpose pickup, they're tops.

For the music I play: DGT neck / Tremonti bridge.

Versatility: DGTs and 57/08s (or whatever it is that I have in my ME II)

408's not listed, so I voted for the DGT.

5909 for me, with 5708 second and DGT Bridge third.

408's for an honorable mention, would love to try them in a 245 scale guitar...

5708 are the coolest one. 5310 are cool too, and in split mode are the best ones. VB HFS are the best modern pickups out there!!! dont like 5909 so much, and 513 sucks

I really like a lot of different PRS pickups, depending on the guitar. For instance, I love the T&Bs in Standards, but not so much in the Customs. I came to not really like the 6s in my SCT, but others swear by them in other models. I had a Korina McCarty with 59/09s that sounded a bit muddy, but they KILLED in other models. And I have several types I have, but haven't tried them yet, like like Dragon 1s, my Deep Dish 2, and my Chainsaw. But if I had to pick a favorite, it would have to be the 57/08s. For the type of music I play most, I prefer lower gain pickups, and let the amp do the work.

Had PTC install 57/08 pickups in my Custom 22 replacing Dragon 2s... HUGE difference! Will do the same on my McCarty! 57/08 are fantastic sounding!

In 1995, the McCarty pickups (and guitar) changed my life in a big way...
Today, I rock 57/08s in the neck position of my DiGiT and my Lester...
The Grissom bridge is the ultimate pickup in the bridge position of my DiGiT
My Lester SINGS through a 59/09 bridge position pickup...

Not me!!!! LOL....Dave told me he looked down Fri night and said to himself...."Damn...White guitars do look great on stage!!" It's funny I went home with my Goldtop after Len set it up for Dave to check out with a BIG smile on my face!!!! I've always said White does sound/look better, but my relic'd DGT is amazing!!!!

Lol...I almost did:D

(but ended up with a stripped 58 instead)

oops...almost forgot--voted for the 57/08s

followed by the DGT and if you want to rip, a Tremonti treble.

I voted 59/09's but to me its a tie between those and Dragon I's..the survey just stated Dragons so I didnt know if this also included the Dii's...hence my vote for the 59/09's.

...i also love DGT's...and the different versions of the 57/08's...and the 53/10's...

and the 1st year McCarty's and....

I'll shut up now.

My favorite is 57/08 with 53/10 in 2nd place.

I'm right there with you! Love the 57/08s, but the 53/10s are creeping up to the top spot (doesn't hurt that the 53/10s are my killer P22!).

Like the 57/08's alot....frigging Love the Tremonti bridge!

Edit: Just realized that I love those pickups only because they are the only two styles of prs pups I have played.....
Edit 2: Just remembered the SE One sitting in the garage...and I really like the bite of that soapbar....I better hide my credit card cause the wheels are turning now lol

Depends on the guitar. I love the 57/08s in my HB2 but I hated them in my Cu24. I prefer the Dragon II pickups in that,

For those who prefer the 57/08, what kind of music are you guys playing most often?

Classic hard rock from the 70s. Think 70s era Rush.

the narrowfields, then the narrowfields, and then a close third, the NARROWFIELDS. i cant believe more people dont give these things a chance. i've got them in a mccarty 25 ann., and i think their the best sounding pickup i've ever heard !
