So J Dot Hayes, Product Support Manager for PRS, was attending Brazil Music Expo in Sao Paulo. J was demoing the P22 and an older gentleman kept walking past looking at him and the guitar. Finally J asked in broken Portuguese "Would you like to try the guitar?" The video is the result of that encounter.

very nice.....reminds me of my dad, when I was a kid he played records constantly that sounded just like that. He had a fetish for flamenco music and anything similar.

If I knew J would be at Expo Music I would stop by just to say hi to him. next time, maybe. Anyway, this song calls Tico Tico no Fuba. If I am not wrong, it's from the 1930's or 1940's and Carmen Miranda recorded it once. This kind of music we call CHORINHO and has lots of virtuosos. Who knows one day we could bring some Chorinho players for the Experience, I am sure people would get amazed.
by the way, the piezo sounds of those P22 are just amazing. My SCHB sounds awesome, but I think, correct me if I am wrong, those new piezo system sounds better then the old ones.

A Chorinho band at Experience would be fantastic! Can you make that happen? :)

Man, I dig traditional Latin stuff, especially flamenco. I wore out my copy of Buena Vitsa Social Club!

Shawn, you guys need to get Strunz and Farah as endorsees!
