I say there are far too many unanswered questions to participate in this clearly misogynistic thread.

Harem? What if you don't have a harem? What if you're against harems and into guitar liberation?

What if you're guitar-monogamous?

What if your guitars aren't female guitars stuck away in a room by a Sultan and guarded by a eunuch?

What if you haven't got photo releases from them and are worried about being sued for invasion of privacy and rights of publicity? What about the guitars that are under the age of consent? Are you going to take pictures of them completely out of their cases, and put them on the internet for everyone to see?

I say we put an end to all of this harem business! Free your guitars! Allow them to walk free in the sunlight! Protect the young ones from leering and prying eyes on internet forums!

Man, I hope you don't mean that. I am renaming this thread because it gives the wrong impression. Even if you have NO PRS Guitars but there is one in a store --- one on eBay -- one that keeps you up at night -- I wanna see it!

Somewhere, out there, is a guy who has one really well played PRS. Just one. He doesn't give a sh!t about forums, about my collection or yours... all he cares about is the music - and making it to the next show/session on time. He keeps it in his gig bag and rides his bike through the maze of pissed-off commuters and barreling Taxi's to get there. That is so rock-n-roll to me. I wanna see that guy's guitar too. How do we track him down?

Here's my PRS along side my other guitars. All of these guitars get gigged, that's what I bought them for. The ME will be gigged just like the rest although I generally only take 2 guitars to gigs I try to rotate them.

On a side note...... Whilst I can see why you changed the thread title, others peoples collections don't make me feel bad, quite the opposite. I love looking at guitars, every and any type of guitar. My ME has been my dream guitar for years and I achieved it finally, but all those years of gigging, going to other bands, guitar shops and forum photo's gave me a great taste for what was out there. I can only say that I buy the things that please me, if someone else has something positive to say that's cool, if they don't like my gear that's cool too.... as long as I'm happy I couldn't give a crap. When someone starts a NGD thread, new anything day actually, it's great. I feel their excitement, their pride that they just got something new... Good for them!

Naw, and I'm sorry to have made you rethink the title. I absolutely love my gear and am so happy to be where I am. With all the amazing gear porn some of you post, it's easy to just drool over/lust after other people's stuff.

My first was a '92 CE24. I swore I would never sell/trade it. A decade and a half later, a SC came my way at a price I couldn't pass up, as long as I traded the CE. A couple years later, I played my first 513...and almost immediately ordered one. That's been with me ever since, and I swear I'm never selling it...;)

This one is bonkers. Saw it at GC Hollywood a while back. It was a private stock and I don't know the model. It had a sick snakewood fingerboard (cant see the figuring in this pic) and the finish was called "Electric Whip Cream Copperhead".

I think so. The PS certificate says Black Rosewood. Same as they used on the MEII.

Close....thanks to Ebay, I have loaded up on JBL's and what you are looking at are some of my favorites....the old BIC Venturi Formula 4's....got 6 of them in the basement, and 6 formula 2's in my upstairs sunroom.

I guess I missed the seminar on small, light weight speakers. :p

This is currently the only PRS I have left in my collection. 2009 GC Limited Run Custom 24. Artist top, Hybrid gold hardware, ebony tuner buttons, 59/09s, Outline MOP birds, EIRW neck, and an Artist black case. The neck was finished when I got it. I sanded that off, 80 grit, 300 grit, 600 grit, 0000 steelwool, and then hit it with some Dr. Duck's.

Wiring changed to 2 volume controls (no tone)no tone caps. Bridge volume control on rear knob, coil tap added to tap both coils. 5 way changed to 3 way tele with Neck,both,bridge.

I love this guitar. I traded 2 PRS for it. An older Matteo Blue SCT, and a 2004 Raspberry Standard.

thanks, yeah was a guitar but couldn't get on with the neck, too used to 24 frets on my CU24 - why I get on with the LP I don't know given it's not 24 but I am getting on fine with that one.

Easiest way is within your photobucket account. Select the photo you want, then click the "image links" section on the right hand area of the photobucket page. Then copy the link called IMG code.

My current herd is back in post # 9, and I have the 408 MT on order which should not be to much longer, as it is suppose to ship to my dealer today according to what the rep told the owner of the local store I deal with.

Down the road if I get another Maryland built guitar, it might be a Tremonti as I like the 25" scale over the shorter one the 245 has.
I could always have my current 2012 SE Tremonti Custom revved up with Tremonti's USA pickups and new pots, but I may get gas for the real deal.

Judging by that photo I would have to think that that guitar is with Matt at Matt's Music, right? Well - he offers 6 months, 0% interest financing available. Thats how I got my first Tremonti and it was from him! ;)

I like it. 408 pickups sound very unique. Neck is nice and comfortable.

Hi, this is me with my 2002 Custom 24 (don't have any better picture than this one from last year's gig :)). It's finished in very dark purple color, so most cameras can't really capture it properly - this picture represents it kind-of ok :) Thing that puzzles me most about this guitar, is the overall output. It's hotter than other guitars with HFS/Vintage Bass combo i have tried, it's even hotter than guitars with EMG 81/85 i used to play (in direct comparison)! However, these zebra pickups are marked as HFS & Vintage Bass on the bottom and all wiring looks stock to me.
