Yeah I have nothing to add either...first one I got was a '94 in '94. Closest I have to an 80's is a TGS 85 tribute....but by all means please don't stop! Absolutely amazing guitars pictured so far!

I don't know much about these instruments, only what I've read on the PRS site and I wanted to ask if there was a HH version of this model or could this be some kind of custom order? (The PRS site says Specials had HSH pickup configurations, mine has a serial # of 9 7516.) However, the tone is incredible, especially for its light weight, it's an awesome guitar indeed.

It seems to have the trem up-route that mine from that era has as well. I believe the "specials" had a different pickup configuration.

Markie, don't even know where to begin on that collection. Simply outstanding! Early standards in opaque finishes are my favorite PRS. It's good to know that there are still a lot of great ones out there. :)

JD, love the pearl white. This may be a longshot, but was that the one Gruhn Guitars had for sale early last year? (If so, I had the pleasure of playing it. What a great one, I would have given a kidney for that thing!)
