How can I get the sound of the guitar solo on "Do It Again" and what scales would be good to practice for this one? Aoelian?

Thanks.

I thought you would be an expert on this subject, didn't you used to own a Steely Dan repair shop?

I never heard of one referred to as a "steely dan,' but I can see how it might work...:flute:

yes - read the books too - but missing the reference unless you are talking about her girlfriends and their goings and - er - comings.

I'm pretty sure she used Steely Dan as the ultimate tool of revenge on Bjurman...

Oh - yeah.... How could I have forgotten that? Must have been similar to the subconscious repression males have when it comes to the movie Deliverance (shudder).

Ahhh The Naked Lunch..great read!

Just finished it last year. One of the more surrrealistic reads I've ever attempted. Not quite as deranged as "Finnigans Wake"....but close.

Post some photos of those "Steely Dans" please! :p;)

Man I tried so hard to get through Finnegans Wake, even got the Joseph Campbell "Skeleton Guide" too! "Face It, He's Really Not That Into You" was an easier and more enjoyable read.
