Maybe it will give him motivation enough do actually do it and not piss his time away doing something he doesn't care about. I'm bummed I never got to bring my dad as he shared my PRS obsession and would've loved the Experience, hopefully I can share it with Jakeb. Only downside is I would miss the Hans Extravaganza.

I would book your room now, and then cancel it if discounted rooms arise. If its with the same hotel they can usually adjust your reservation and if its a different hotel, you can book there and cancel the existing reservation. You don't want to be sleeping in the factory parking lot at night. Hans and I walk around with flashlights and would probably scare you.

If you register in the alotted time, Friday and Saturday are completely free. Thursday night is a Signature Club only event so while still free, you need to be a member of the Signature Club (http://prsguitars.com/signatureclub/) which has a small fee but you really get a lot from it!

I am thinking about attending. Does anyone bring their guitar and have Paul sign it? Or is there a better way to do that so I don't have to carry it around all day long?

They don't want you bringing your guitar. Bring one of the back covers. Keep your guitar home safe. There are autograph sessions with Paul.

NO chance of coming this year... Was always an extremely long shot. 2014 might be my year! :)

Still hoping there may be a 'Virtual Experience' of some description this year...

I'm almost in the same boat. I won't say there's NO chance, but at this point it's gonna take a minor miracle. I'm ready to go today, but the money to make it happen is the problem.

Transportation and ParkingPLEASE NOTE: Due to lack of demand and continual problems with local charter bus companies, we will not offer bus transportation for this year’s event.
General parking is available throughout the business park but is limited. Please feel free to park along the business park circle but we need to ask that you refrain from parking in the parking lots of the surrounding businesses.
Note: Some of our neighbors have decided to solicit parking in their lots by charging a parking fee. We have addressed the issue and have kindly asked these businesses NOT to do this but we cannot guarantee they will abide by our request. If you choose to park in a ‘paid’ lot, it’s ok but please do not feel obligated to do so.
Handicapped parking areas have designated in the front parking area of the PRS building.
Factory ToursGuests are free to explore the PRS factory at your leisure. We will have ongoing demonstrations in all major areas of the factory. There will be NO guided tours this year.
ClinicsClinics will be given throughout the day as well. You are free to attend whichever ones are of interest to you. There will be no sign ups for clinics; however, a schedule will be provided for your reference. This should help you figure out how to plan your day.
Food and BeverageA lite-fare dinner will be provided at no cost on Thursday evening during the exclusive Signature Club Member event.
Due to the growing number of attendees for this event, PRS Guitars is no longer able to offer complimentary meals on Friday and Saturday. This was not an easy decision but we've gone to great efforts to select food vendors who will be onsite to provide a wide variety of cuisines at a reasonable cost. Please come prepared with extra cash to cover your meals. Complimentary bottled water, assorted sodas and coffee will be provided. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

Can't wait...again. I'm already starting to feel the need to hold off on any big purchases so I can save my funds for Experience. I even toyed with the idea of trying to time a PS to pick up there this year, being that I'll turn 50 shortly before the event, but my uncertainty is too strong to commit to it!

But since our illustrious Hans turns 40 right after, hopefully I can get a picture with him so Mrs. Hans can see how far downhill the next decade may go...

Two words come to mind when I listen to J.J. Grey's music, "AM Gold!" His music sounds like what one would expect to hear on AM radio in the late sixties/early seventies. He has this Mowton meets Stax meets the swamp kind of sound that brings back a lot of great memories while simultaneously giving us something new to buy.
