PRS 2 CHANNEL H FANCY FACEPLATE

I had a local buddy make a faceplate for my 2 channel H out of a piece of burly claro that I had lying around. This piece of wood had so many bark inclusions and knots that we had to maneuver the template around to get a workable piece. While I don't necessarily like it any better than the flamed maple, I do think this natural piece of walnut looks cool with the paisley covering.

No, no. I have no ulterior motive, I just want to see it installed so we get the full effect. I think the exotic wood looks amazing.

It's not hard to install. The same guy made this one from a piece of maple I took to him. Here it is installed on my C:

I haven't installed the walnut one as I'm waiting for my 2 Channel Custom before I decide what to do with this walnut front. It will probably end up on the 2 channel H in the OP.

This burl was so squirrelly that we made it a tad thicker than PRS does. 5/8" is what we used.

thanks! I always collect wood scraps along the way when I can find them and now may have a new project. Thanks! Now I just need my 2-channel H to come in. Supposed to arrive any day.
