Most of my favorites have already been mentioned. Mr. Rogers, M*A*S*H, Hawaii 5-0. I also liked "The Big Valley". And I don't know if I should be embarrassed or not, but I still break into "Love Boat" at odd times. It always gets me looks, but what the heck.

My Childhood friend, Frank Lupo, was the writer and producer of 2 of the shows already indicated..."Greatest American hero" and "Riptide". he also wrote and produced "The A Team" (with his mentor, Steve Cannel), "Werewolf"; "Wiseguys" and too many others to remember. he is my most successful friend (with the exception of my friend Eddie Zuckerberg's son, Mark).

Great thread! I loved "It's About Time" back in the day--I haen't heard that theme song since the '60's. Another one of my favorite shows from back then was "The Time Tunnel", but I don't recall that they had a theme song for it. And "My Living Doll", starring the wonderful Julie Newmar (pre-Catwoman) as a robot. I'm surprised that those shows never made it into syndication. However, my favorite TV theme song of all has to be the one from "The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show"...I've been known to quote that one in solos.

Love this theme and watching it reminds me how much of my childhood was spent emulating those moves. And my M-16 didn't even have an orange cap on it. Amazing I'm still alive. :laugh:
