I'm really thinking about getting one of these. Played one at my local dealer and fell in love with it. Out of the 4 colors I like the scarlet red the best.

Does anyone on here own one?

I've seen them on ebay. They're super awesome looking, I don't know anything about them though. They're not listed as a regular model. The black one is pure sex.

95% sure I will be getting one of these in the near future. Only likely upgrade I will probably do is chrome pickup covers. May possibly upgrade to some US pickups as well.

These were a limited run and sold out at the factory. Some dealers may still have some in stock, but we aren't accepting new orders. Sorry.

Any idea where I can get chrome pickup covers? Is their a certain type I would need to get? Or should I just save up and buy some new US pickups?

Leaning towards the latter.

I put nickel covers on a set of SE pickups once and it wasn't easy to find the right thing. Chrome is one thing, nickel is another. The bridge pickups have a 52mm pole piece spacing which is hard to find in the US. Lots of Asian made bridge pickups are 52MM and chrome covers are easy to find on ebay and stuff, but nickel ones are tough. I ended up with a G*bson branded one and it fit very well, go figure. For the neck pickup, it was an easier find at 50mm which is standard for a lot of pickups. I was able to pick up a generic 50mm nickel cover and it worked great.

The disclaimer here is while I've had several sets of SE pickups and they were all the same, measure yours with some calipers before you buy something.

Hey Shawn, do you know how many of these were made? I'm hearing differently all over the place ranging between 15 and 100.

Jealous!

Thanks, didn't have enough cash to buy it so I had to put a down payment to hold it. He has one in silver sparkle and 2 in red sparkle still available. He can ship them if anyone is interested.
