It's kind of cheating because they all played on so many artists records as backing bands but; The Funk Brothers, Chic, and The Upsetters

Pink Floyd
The Dog`s D`Amour
Cinderella.
To name but a few.
Old skool metallica
Poison, the black crowes, enuff znuff, stray cats. Too many to mention
Today I'm in metal mode so...
Morbid Angel - wildly influential though I'm pretending the last album never happened
Napalm Death - they never let me down and get better with age
Immolation - I can go for months on their stuff alone
Give it up for metal!:rock:

I'm younger and not a huge oldies fan so here goes...
1.) 12 Stones - Always been my favorite band and probably always will be. Just love how they sound.
2.) Stevie Ray Vaughan - My favorite guitarist of all time.
3.) idk.......this one's difficult.....I think I would have to say Falling Up, but it's so close between them and several other bands that it could go either way.

Hmmm.....this is pretty ridiculous... I can't do it really....if I had to pick only three bands to listen to for the rest of my life...I figure there are enough guitar licks to learn between all three of these to keep me busy for a lifetime...
Jimi Hendrix Experience
Allman Bros. Band
Van Halen
The ABB is a fun cheat given all the amazing guitarists that have played and continue to play with them.

#1 is always Belladona-era Anthrax, and everything else varies based on my mood.

Anthrax's Persistence of Time is a thrash-terpiece if there ever was one. Such a phenomenal album.

Ah yes, BOC, one of my faves too.
See, narrowing it down to just three is way to hard.

Well, for me...there is BOC.....maybe Floyd and Young...and "everyone else".
In my college and graduate school days, I was the equivalent of a "dead-head"...only with BOC. I must have seen them 100 times between 1974 and 2009, with the vast majority of those shows in the '70's. My favorite band, and my favorite guitar hero. How ya doin' Buck? Still playing your Steinberger "Cheeseburger" headless speacial??
