Yep! I've owned 3 other private stock guitars, but this one dwarfs them all in terms of tone, looks and playability. I'm very grateful to have the opportunity to play it every day.

Stripper?? Damn fine top on that. Mine is my fav today as well. I just keep playing it more and more, and can get very unique tonal changes using just subtle roll offs of the volume and tone knobs.

After playing the 12-string Archtop through my new Acoustisonic (full size) last night, it is now in my top 3 all-time favorite guitars.

The 2011 McCarty '58 SB is still my No.1 (at least until the p22 RW arrives). It's seen more play-time/day than any guitar I've owned thus far.
It weighs in at only 6.8lbs, and is a RINGER! (The pics are from when it first arrived, thus the non-worn frets and all around mint condition :cool: )

As a big fan of Gibson modernistic series todays fav was my Gibson Heritage Korina flying V :).Gibson 57 classic plus in the bridge and a Dimarzio humbucker from hell in neck.A good combination i think.

Between now and then, makes sure you enable a few things...

1) Click on Settings (top right of the home page after you log in)
2) Click on General Settings (mid-way down the left side of the page)
3) Scroll to the Miscellaneous Settings section at the bottom of the page and change the Message Editor Interface from Basic to Standard. If you want even more editing options, choose Enhanced. Either Standard or Enhanced is sufficient.

Thanks, I have another Custom 24 from `90 with the same tobacco burst finish but it's equipped with a tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece. The other major difference is the `88 is super clean, the `90 looks like it spent its entire existence with a punk-rock band. It's a great guitar though, weighs a good 8.5 lbs., Deep Dish II/ VB pups. I use it for all of the drop tuning music we play.

I just put 57/08's in my old, beat up McCarty standard and it sounds glorious. I don't think those pickups are coming out of there. Almost forgot how great this guitar was.

My favorite PRS (out of three) is still my 2012 SE Custom 24, but I will get some more time this weekend on my new 2012 SE Tremonti Custom.
And, next Wednesday is my last day at work until I go back the 2nd of January, so I hope to have lots of quality time with all of my guitars.
