The Mark Tremonti Signature guitar is the unique result of a collaboration between PRS and Mark Tremonti, of Creed and Alter Bridge.

A fascinating instrument in the singlecut style, sporting a PRS trem (with up-route) and proprietary Tremonti pickups, along with options for quilt and 10-tops as well as 'special order finishes', the Tremonti is on a level all it's own.

If you've got a great Mark Tremonti PRS to show us, just hit reply!

What's it worth

( this may bore anyone that has heard the story before...sorry but you asked )

I bought a Tremonti II...this one

http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q127/AlanJack/P1010228.jpg

and took it along to an Alter Bridge gig in Glasgow to have it signed by Mark.

After having signed the back of the headstock, Mark asked for the guitar back and started strumming away at it. He commented that he hadn't seen the finish before on the Tremonti II and asked if I would swap him for one of his.....why did he even have to ask

So...and this was the best bit, we started to head into the venue, when a dorrman stopped me and told me I wasn't getting in....Mark stepped up...''he's with me'' :D ...get it right up you Mr Doorman

Mark pulled this one out of the rack and handed it to me. I was like a kid at Xmas. I did get Mark to sign this one too.

It was one of the first off the line of the Tremonti II's and was the PRS website guitar.

One thing I did notice straight after plugging it in is that the controls are set up ala a Les Paul.....Shaun....did Mark ask for this layout?

Mark is still playing my old one live.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KF1_6AS5 ... re=related (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KF1_6AS5yfo&feature=related)

This is my 2007 Tremonti II with the old style birds. Not a beautiful 10 top like some others, but I haven't personally seen another black one with a trem. Of course, now that
I've said that, all the other guys who have them will be posting pictures :P I added a Tremol-No so I can take one guitar to the gig and switch tunings if I have a small stage. Also, I replaced the pickups with a Dimarzio Crunch Lab and PAF Pro. The stocks were just a wee bit hot for my tastes.

There won't be any damage but since standard to B is a pretty big different, you are going to need to have the guitar properly set up for the new tuning/guage to ensure you have a comfortable action, no fret buzz or dead notes. Your local guitar shop should be able to do it for you properly at a relatively affordable rate.

There was a limited run of Semi-Hollow Singlecuts back in 2008-9 ? that were Jet White , but they were solid white with binding. Both my 20th and 25th are natural backs as I ordered them. Jet White is not a production color on anything other than the Navarro's.

Is that one a baritone, Shawn? Gotta love a piezo Tremonti! That's also about $100 in lampshade knobs! LOL

I'm not sure if it's a Bari or not. Since it has two volume pots (and a lot of expensive knobs) there was no good way to do a blend on this guitar so the magnetic pups work independently of the piezo. No blend knob on this, just a piezo master volume.

So Creed was touring in Brazil and I had the opportunity to meet the band and have my Tremonti signed by Mark. Don't have to say that he and Erock are such a nice guys and very down to earth.
