as the PTC is not really helpful in selling brushed covers as replacement
there is just one chance - brush them by yourself!
this is absolutely not difficult, but you should act carefully not to rub through.
i took a coarse brushing sponge.....
the result looks perfect and it is a good alternative for shiny or "vintaged" covers.
please ask some questions if there are!
cheers

Great job Klaus
Looks great. Any tips on doing this? Brush in one direction, sides or top first? Am I over thinking this?

i brushed the sides first to get a feeling for.
then i went fore and backwards with the sponge
and let the middlefinger lead the distance on the sides.
i guess it it easier to brush in one direction.
brush first one half and turn the cover - care fore the edges!
good luck and let me see the result.
