I finished my mods over the weekend and thought I'd share. My SE245 received the following:

Schaller locking tuners
Graphtech Tusq XL nut
Tonepros metric PRS locking studs
Martin...

Maybe I'll give in at some point. I'm prone to moments of weakness.

And there 's the rub about the cost of the knobs. I got four new 550K pots for $30.

I have a set of CTS 550K pots delivering today that will be replacing the stock Alphas.

I've looked there but just can't pay out $60 + shipping for four plastic knobs.

Ok, I'm finally getting around to upgrading my SE245. I've already got pickups, electronics and a Tusq XL nut but am now looking for the following.

TonePros locking posts (large head)
PRS USA...

I have one of the red SE245's and so far, I've swapped out the pickups and caps for a set of DiMarzio 36th Annivesary PAFs and Mojotone paper-in-oil caps. I still need to go back in and do a volume...

Are there any other drop-in locking tuner options fo the SEs? I'm one of the minority that doesn't care for the small buttons on the 406 tuners. Also, is there a Black Tusq XL nut that's a direct...
