I have had all three guitars (well, I have the Orianthi model which is basically the CU24 SE) and would be hard pressed to choose between the Tremonti Custom SE and the CU24 SE. Both are great...

NOS (new old stock) is a common thing. I've bought new guitars that were years old before. You'd be surprised how some retailers are with their warehouses. ;)

Definitely. I opened the box and was completely in love with it. I had another guitar that I got recently (an ESP LTD Elite) that is an amazing guitar too, but the top at first didn't do it for me....

Korina body instead of mahogany and ebony fingerboard instead of rosewood. And obviously there's an "O" inlay at the 12th fret, which is probably the least annoying artist-specific inlay I've seen...

I don't think age necessarily has anything to do with it. I'm 30 and I get along fine with just about any neck profile. As a matter of fact, I'd hate to limit myself to one because then it'd be like...

Hm, that's a peculiar change up. From PRS to Fretlight? I don't think that's too likely, Fretlight is an instructional aide and not an actual guitar company. Looks like she got hooked up with this...

Why'd the Orianthi model get axed?

I mean, don't get me wrong, I just got a new one for 50% off as a result so I'm happy on that count...but why'd it get cancelled? Looks like a great guitar, and a unique one given the Korina.

They definitely aren't the typical "metal" pickup. More of an active PAF. Clean up real nice at low volumes. I'm a fan though, they're staying in my Torero.

Seems like a silly question maybe, but what are the differences? For instance, Floyd Roses made in Korea are roughly the same as their German counterparts. Are the SE bridges drastically different?...
