The singlecut had a broken drill bit in one of the pickup ring mounting holes and the other one had a big gouge that was naturally in the wood that must have been exposed when they carved the top....

It takes a few tries to get it perfect, I went through that learning process last year. It is mostly about wiping the stain off after you put it on but once you get it then you can do it every time....
