very cool...
I am so sad to read this...Bill was one of the good ones...and I remember how excited he was when he spec'd out his private stock. Prayers for his family and friends.
Beautiful guitar. You can never have too many DGTs. I have 3. It's a perfect guitar.
My 2009 DGT is a beast.
Last year's event was, I think, the best of them all. It did have a great vibe and flow...all the pieces just seemed to fit together flawlessly. Won't make it this year, first one I'll miss, but I'm...
I've had a lesson with Cody Kilby, and hope to get another one. Awesome player, even better person.
This will be the first year I miss...
I use both. I like the way a tube amp moves air, especially as you kick in overdrives. From an in the room sound perspective the sound guy at our church, who has the ears to tell which guitar I'm...
Thanks, everyone! There's something very attractive about a solid body with piezo.
Well, not really versus...has anyone compared the two? I've got an HB1 with piezo, and I really love the guitar...love the piezo and the ability to blend the sounds. Part of me looks at the p22 and...
I have an EP booster, a visual sound rt 66, a voodoo labs sparkle drive, and the recent addition, the bogner ecstasy blue. I'll probably get the ecstasy red also. They all sound good.
My killer quilt DGT from Eric Martin sounds better and plays better than my other DGTs. It's a private stock top. I don't know if that's the reason, but it is my story.
Happy birthday Paul and aduayer!
That is a good idea. Would a password protected stream resolve copyright issues with performances? Perhaps access to some live streams, or archives, could be part of the signature club package?
That's nice...
My daughter and I will be spending that weekend watching PRS artist Grant Mickelson. Well, my daughter will be watching Taylor Swift, I'll probably be watching the guitar players.
First year I...
I have two:
1989 "Classic Electric":

and a 2005 20th anniversary singlecut:...
Mine, too.
Guitar Player Magazine, Spring 1982, Charlie Christian was on the cover and there was a nice article on Paul inside. I was 14 and lived in Annapolis and thought "hey, he's in Annapolis also!" Took...
My first electric is a Gibson SG Firebrand I bought in 9th grade (1980?). Bought my first PRS electric in '91, haven't bought another brand since.
Right now...visual sound Rt. 66, voodoo labs sparkle drive, bogner ecstasy blue. I'll probably pick up an exctasy red at some point.
My Orange Tiger Burst DGT from Eric Martin:

Origninally from Annapolis, Maryland. Now I live in Murray, KY. We're in the far western part of the state (well, commonwealth actually). The Land Between the Lakes National Recreation area is...
I don't really care much one way or the other...there is something about a pushed tube amp, but a nice rich clean pedal platform and the right box in front sounds pretty good as well. Whatever's...
