It was! I had forgotten how therapeutic it could be to refinish giutars. But now comes the thing I dread, sanding down the clearcoat on the veneer without burning through it...

Here's a short update!

Just got done sanding the headstock and there were actually a couple of cracks in the wood under all that paint. That's just bad quality control right there!

This might be a stupid question but here it goes. If a guitar is finished in charcoal black/faded grey or any of the "black tinted" colors would it be at all possible to just sand it down a little...
