There is some grain showing through. I am also liking the natural finished color as well.

The other guitars are great but this seemed to do everything I needed including a nice jazz neck pickup sound. I may sometimes be overly dramatic in my initial assessments but even a small change in...
Thanks Shawn, we'll be in touch soon. Cheers!
I had a vision today of this guitar with a gold anodized pick guard. Hmmmmmm! Would also love to swap out the pickups in one of my DC3s for a set of Brent Mason pickups! Would the PTC do such a...
Just spent a few hours setting up and playing a new Brent Mason model. I have many guitars that fall into the "versatile" category including a 513, SAS H-S-H with fralins, even a SAS with DGT's and I...
This is my favorite part. It so resonates as true from my experience as a player!
From the interview:
Can you address the production process for a guitar?
Four-hundred meticulous steps. No,...
I have both with wide-fat and no center block construction. ( the center block on the current models are not like a 335 centerblock) The HBII may be a bit brighter than a SC-Hollowbody I due to the...
Howdy Jay, great to see you on here! I'm getting excited about a lightweight Brent Mason model all the way from the Great North :-). Cheers Amigo!
I know, I know. I need both.
Was wondering if the Brent Mason treble pickup is the same wind as Paul's guitar treble without the resistor? Thanks for any info. Cheers!
Thanks! decided on the maple. Great to speak with you today. Looking forward to the NGD. Awesome!
Cool Beans! Thanks Brent!
They did a special run of the 513 for Bizarre guitar a few years back with a wide fat maple neck. I love this guitar.

Very funny video. So does the 408 guitar have a resistor and the Brent Mason model does not?
I realize that the new piezo is a smaller design but I'm wondering if there is any difference tonally?
Great Guitar! The finest PRS Hollowbody! Congrats!
I like both Wide Fat and Pattern. Here's why I like Pattern. ( somebody pass the lotion ) lol. Ok name this chord?

Is that a picture of the inside of a hollowbody II in the video?
I hope that they do make a wrap around bridge version of the JA15. I would imagine that there would be a significant tone difference due to the location change of the wood block that normally sits...
I believed that they used the word "impregnated". My SAS narrowfield and DC3 has the same finish on the neck. Feels lovely! I'm not aware of any prescribed maintenance. Hope someone will chime in...
Thanks for posting this Mike. I just got home. Had to drive through the snow. This is definitely worth seeing. Cheers!
Did anyone check out PRSh on CNN tonight. You Go Paul!
Love the 53/10 pickups. I have them in several guitars.http://i414.photobucket.com/albums/pp226/davidgrantham/photo.jpg
As far as I can tell the Dallas line is still there. It's now part of CAD. I got this information from the news link here....
Count me in on this model and I'm hoping for that wiring as well.
