Congrats - those Brent Mason models look very nice.
Rather than cut your strap - why not just take the strap buttons off, insert them through the holes in the strap (narrow/guitar end of the strap...

This has been epic ... I'm almost in as much anticipation around this arriving as when I order a guitar myself!
Incidentally, my local dealer always sets up every guitar that arrives but - when I...
Hello! Not been here long myself and only one PRS to my name but there seems to be a lot of good banter and some sick private stock pictures to drool over on here so I'm happy! Just need to win the...
Yeh, I'm usually likewise but I think I've figured it (no pun intended ...) - I like one-piece quilt tops but not so keen on book-matched quilt.
Wow - really nice. Never come across Makore wood before but the figuring on the back is gorgeous! Like the Sandstorm Crossfade finish too. Gonna have to remember that one.
I reckon they already finished it but it was so good that Paul nicked it for himself so they've had to start again. :)
I'm with you on the 3x 408 guitar! Preferably a Maple Top Mira with McCarty thickness body, Pattern neck and Bigsby B3 but now I'm just trying to avoid saving up for a PS order. ;)
Sweet! 408s rule ... :)
Wow - stunning! But then, I'm always a sucker for a nice flame too with natural back/neck. :)
Hmmm ... I'm heavily based towards the 408 pickups but a good Swamp Ash Special Narrowfield or Swamp Ash Studio could be right up your 'fat but good clean' alley, as it were.
Ooooh that's nice ... the hybrid hardware looks great with that finish: yours? :)
Sweet lord that is freakin' stunning!
I'm hankering after a PS with three 408 Narrow pickups (probably overwind the bridge) and 5-way switching for Bridge Humbucker / Bridge Humbucker + Middle Single Coil / Middle Humbucker / Middle...
Worst humming issue I had turned out to bethe halogen lights in the ceiling of the room directly below where my amp was situated. Only happened when they were on!
Copper may be my new favourite PRS colour - that thing is gorgeous! :)
Thomann have 'em listed as arriving on 10th May ... I got a gig on 11th, wonder if they could rush me one in time ... :)
Hey Mike - fellow UK member here! Great tone and technique in those vids. :thumb:
Great finish and sounds like - with a couple of tweaks - still a great player!
Very nice! What's the back/neck wood on that? Looks pretty dark which really helps the natural top pop! Despite my latest purchase being a solid colour guitar I've always liked a natural /...
An Alfa Romeo GT 1.9 JTD. Reasonably quick, handles great, good for 45mpg+ on a long journey and - if I put my PRS in a gig-bag - I can get my full rig in the boot!
Just cost me about $1700 to...
Been through a few boards (all made more wood, glue and sticky-back,Velcro!) and layouts but this is what I'm running presently:

Not sure but maybe PTC woud swap 'em for Narrowfields (turning it into an NF3) for you? The Narrowfields are very good, IMO.
Just found this on YouTube - comparing the maple top Sig Ltd with the all-mahogany 408 Standard (albeit with the rosewood neck):

408 sounds a lot like mine - even...
Gorgeous colour!
Not sure - the Standard sounds killer and feels exactly like my old McCarty which had the same (well, Wide/Fat vs Pattern) neck but I didn't get to A/B it against a MT model. I did play a couple of...
