Happy you like it my friend! I only gave this one up to cover the HX/DA I felt I needed to buy :)
Someday I'm sure I will own a Sewell again.

I'm thinking about bringing mine over to PTC to have it housed in paisley with a flame maple face plate
Back to the original storyline of this thread.........paisley helps convince the wife that the amps and cabs are pieces of furniture, so you need more to fill other rooms.
I have one of the first 20 "C" amps that were released before they started labelling them "2 channel C" and love it.
Just got back from a weekend of ABB shows at the Beacon Theatre in NYC. Just awesome. Check out the array of PRS heads and cabs used by Derek and Warren at this year's shows. Outstanding.

Just got one last weekend after listening to Jimmy Herring and hearing the tone he got from the NF3. Just love it! Strat tones on steroids with just enough of that creamy humbucker sound in the mix.
Don't know how they will cheer you up, but I've got these....

Saw The Ringers with Jimmy play at the Howard Theatre in DC back on Saturday night. What a killer show!!! So much talent on that stage.
However, both Wayne Krantz and Michael Landeau were playing...
Same here. Just picked up a new Holmes cool mist humidifier from Target for around $75. I like it because it has two reservoirs that each hold over 2 gallons, so it runs for 2-3 days before I have...
I can't wait to catch the DC show. Huge Jimmy H. fan. Check out this recent photo of him sporting a PRS NF3 on the Widepsread Panic tour. And if you have not grabbed Jimmy's new CD "Subject to...
Was that a Bob Marley or Michael Jackson tribute?
Outstanding thread. Thanks guys!
My Dirty 100. I received it last weekend and then had to go out of town for work this week. I have not put it down since I got home Thursday night. Just a magical guitar. Has the 245 scale I love...
Can I get a kitchen countertop in that pattern? Preferably with moons inlays?:proud:
Can someone with a Dirty 100 or who knows about them tell me about the rosewood fretboard on them? I scored #91 last week. The fretboard is not only stunningly beautiful, but it is like a tight...
I bought my Starla Ltd with 57/08 pickups in it. Going to switch them out for Starla pickups so I can get the original tone (and put the 57/08s in my Ted DC245 which currently has 59/09s).

Ted McCarty DC 245.
Now I'm real curious. Has anyone compared the HX/DA to the Original Sewell. If I recall, the Sewell was the basis for the 25th Anniv, which in turn was the basis for the HX/DA, correct? So, can an...
Can someone explain to me what the "mid-shift" and "depth boost on lead channel" would do for me on my 2 channel "C" amp if I had either of those mods done? I am thinking about having the PTC...
Disappointed to see the 2 channel "C" go from the standard line-up. I still like mine better than any of the "H" amps, but then again, I like more vintage tones.
Very interesting story. Thanks.
Pretty sure I got an email confirmation thanking me for registering on the last one I bought (2012 DGT a few months back).
Gov't Mule - Monkey Hill and Mr. High & Mighty
Led Zeppelin - Sick Again & Ten Years Gone
That is a stunning guitar!
