I have an SE EG and it sure meets all my Strat needs:
- WF neck profile
- 3 single coils and a 5-way switch
- Stoptail bridge
- Stays in tune and intonates perfectly

Happy Birthday Chris.

Great piece of PRS history there...congrats! Reminds of a guy from the old PRS Forum days (Andrew?) who bought #13 for cheap in white from a neighbor who was moving and just wanted to get rid of it....
Howdy Brian...hope you and the family are enjoying Texas!
Best, Jim
The bridge on the SE EG i got from Chris had a noticable forward lean and it was simply the lousy fit of the stock studs in the inserts. A set of the TonePros metric studs, with the stick SE bridge,...
I just call all of mine - love bumps!

I just put a set of Tone Pros metric studs on my SE EG ands they fit perfectly. You have to use the stock threaded bushings as the TP ones are way to skinny to fit the holes. Got 'em off Ebay for $30...
My favorite, and PRSH too, are 9.5's. They are a perfect balance of tone, bendability and intonation on the 25" scale.....for me.

I just gave up and bought a used PRS SE EG with the 3 single coils and a great WF neck. Takes care of my Strat needs just fine! Best $300 bucks I ever spent on a guitar.

Gush,
If'n you find the Phase 2's I'll be glad to have them for Snowy. I'm sure I have a few things to pass on too.
Thanks,
Jim

Old enough for Medicare :santa:
The wrap stoptail is perfect for me and a brilliant design. With Tone Pros studs it intonates perfectly and is just a no-brainer.
Jim, no trems here
My first was a '98ish CE 22 stoptail. I quickly found out that, while the WT neck felt good in the store, it caused to much hand pain. Sold this one and went WF and never looked back.
