Where in Oz did you find this gem? Not many shops stock US made PRS's.

Looks remarkably like my PRS Series II EG 1 ( h/s/h with split coils) - except mine is black with a rosewood board.

Nearest I've come is youtube clips, and good clips of Sweet 16 are virtually non-existent.

Here in Australia we cant just walk into the local music shop and find PRS, not even SE's.

As for PRS...

OK any preferences - both about the same output, both similar tube complement except for rectifier in Princeton. Both about same $$

If I want to purchase say a Hollowbody II in a certain colour, but want to see photos of the guitar before I accept the purchase/order, would I need to order it as "Private StocK", even if nothing...

So not that thick really. Probably no thicker than my Gibson LP Heritage Lite (thinner than a "real" LP).

Hope to check one out next week if the shop hasnt sold it by then.

I'd start by lowering the pickups, probably the bridge unit first. Measure and record corrent height from polepieces to strings first.

SE P22 (including piezo) or SE Hollowbody II

I have an EG 1 Series II ( I believe) and a CE22 ( mahogany body/maple top) both from early 90's. Both are fine -admittedly never gigged and treated well.
