Great looking guitar
59/09. I think about this guitar on a weekly basis.
They are a nice value for what they are.
Speaking of the dumbloid pedal Amplified Nation makes a cheaper clone. He calls it the Big Bloom. I had a chance to play one and was wholly unimpressed. If thats what a Dumbloid sounds like then...
Got a J. Mascis vibe going
-1990 is not pre factory.
-It is not a 10 top.
-Its called a sweet switch.
-Bass and Treble pickups (though they could be something else, check the backs for stickers)
There is more information located in the bridge pickup cavity...if its legit.
Quality and materials wise I think of them as an intermediate stage between production and private stock. I own both. Some artist guitars are much nicer than private stocks i've played and vice...
The V12 on my PRS guitars hasnt "chipped with everyday use". I would venture to guess that there is a small sample size that had issues. It isnt the norm.
Not my cup of tea, but I can definitely appreciate a great flame maple top and neck. That is awesome, congrats!

The available selection is...
I dont care for the S2 Mira. I would stick with the Bernie. I honestly just believe its a better guitar.

I really really like the Zendrive Red. It is a limited production higher gain version of their original circuit. I can get everything from a simple clean boost with hair when you dig in to a smooth...
This is a failure on the part of the PRS Private Stock team. It has become almost comical at how much the mark has been has been missed each time.
I love the sound of 57/08's split (tapped). The blade switching offers some interesting variations on that theme in the 2 and 4 positions with combining pickups in paralell. My question is if the 2...
Actually, many of the higher end ($7k+) custom acoustic builders use "plywood" construction. Or as its properly called...laminate.
Id say the SE line varies from good to very good.
I havent played one that blew me completely away and I havent heard one that really disappointed.
If I could switch the in between position on the blade to be true single coil neck and bridge instead of the parallel set up that would be perfect.
Man Tag that is THE sound! To my ear there is just enough hair that you could have taken those passages anywhere and it would have fit. Really great.
Are you running any pedals into the Quinn...
