My cousin, Greg Mann, gave me a Gibson SG as a wedding gift,, which I tried to re-finish... unsuccessfully He later introduced me to Paul,who re-finished it.
And the rest is history! 8-)

FYI...

All PRS parts are NICKEL plated.... NOT chrome plated. (Nickel has a gold-ish hue to it where as chrome as a blue-ish hue to it).
Paul always preferred the nickle look over chrome, which...

I recently had a customer who wanted to screw a Roland GK-3 divided synth pickup directly on to his 20th Anniversary PRS Guitar ! I told him that I just couldn't bring myself to do that, which IMHO...

I have one of the amps that you mentioned. Doug modded the "30" amp head I had in stock. This mod puts it in that AC-30 territory. Very cool amp tones.

You probably have a transisition model. That was right around the time that PRS started phasing out my original 1 pc Mil-Com bridges and using another source (Excel Machine) to produce.
