Just when I was about to pull the trigger on a DGT...
I remember when my daughter first saw that guitar. She is a big Ori fan and wanted that one. I had to explain to her the cost involved with covering the top of a CU24 with that many Swarovski...
I saw the tour when it rolled through Denver (the first time, he circled back through after the Lost LP was returned). The show was really good and his interaction with the crowd made it more fun.

I have the green light to purchase a DGT. My wife is a keeper because the green light is actually for a LP Custom and a DGT. I'm very excited about the DGT, not so much about the LP Custom. But if...
So it would seem that I would be better off finding a new one for the wiring change at least. Wildwood has a really cool faded blue 10-top w/birds but it is a 2011.
Is there any difference between a DGT from 2011 and one from 2013?
I'm in the market for another guitar. The Brent Mason Sig looks like an interesting alternative to some Teles I've been looking at. Since Brent was always a Tele-guy, I figured it has to cover that...
I've tried a Schallers, Dunlop, and Loxx. I always seem to go back to the stock strap buttons on all of my guitars, not just the PRS.
I've never had a problem with the stock buttons and I like the...
Thanks for the link. The article was good reading. I'm still shocked about how bad his pedalboard looks since in another interview he commented about having one made. I think he needs to find a new...
I really like the Chase Freedom Blue (CFB) color. Now I want a CFB DGT.
Seeing that table makes me think it was a good call to skip it. I'd come home with too much stuff and my wife would kill me.
The .11s are on. I went with the EB Power Slinky .11-.48 strings. No adjustment was required for the nut. The truss rod and spring claw required a slight tweak, but not much.
I was afraid of the nut being too tight. I'll lube it up and hope for the best.
All of the other adjustments I am fine making.
I want to switch to 11s on my CU24 for Eb tuning. It has 10s now.
Can I do this without having to reslot the nut?
I had seen the rig rundown clip awhile back and remembered it when the story was posted here. Glad someone found it and posted the link. It is cool that Mark remembers the swap.
Cool Picks "Juratex" Jazz 1.2mm. The pick has a sand textured grip. The tone from the pick is amazing.

Before that I was using Dunlop...
If I was going to get a black guitar, that would be the one.
On Hercules slatwall hangers. If they are all out and easy to grab, they all get played. Before the ones in the cases stayed in the cases and I only played the one that was out. I use the hangers to...
I'm using the regulars. I agree with a previous post that the tone difference is more noticable on humbuckers. Don't know that I would put them on the strat again because of the added cost.
I have them on all my guitars right now. Much fuller tone and louder. Not sure how long they last because I'm still on the first sets. They do feel different and as Slash said, "buttery." My wife...
I switched from D'Addario XL to the EB Cobalts. The only problem with switching is that I love them and cannot find them in anywhere now. Hopefully, EB can figure out how to make them faster.
