So how about a new thread..... Archive Monday....
I voted for loss of tone, because there was no "they feel funky" option. I tend to dig in a bit, so I also break them more than I'd like. When one goes, they all go.
YOLO...... Seriously though, you're only looking at other guitars because none I the ones that you have are EXACTLY what you want both sonically and aesthetically.
Interested to hear what you're playing through? How are you setting volume and tone? Using a pick? Pretty cool sounds.
I had a guitar that I swear was 'cold' Picking it up, it physically felt colder than any other guitar in the room. I felt like you really had to play it a lot to get it 'warmed up'. I know it's...
Anyone with the Line 6 gear have issues being too close to the receiver? I see complaints about that from time to time...
More often than not it seems like imitation is done for personal gain... all the while the imitator is hoping you don't find out who they're imitating. I'd say it's the most insincere form of...
This is AWESOME!!!! Tell us more.....
Sad, funny, and true all at the same time.
For me two days before I'll shine up the guitars I'm playing, change strings, and test my setup. I stack it up in the corner until load out. I always bring five things: Amp, Cab, pedal/cable case,...
I had a real positive experience getting a Strat Plek'd. It had a twisted neck that they were able to dress the frets for very even playability.
This is a pretty cool video that PRS did about...
Need someone to send one to you? I go to the post office for work way too often. I'd be glad to drop one in the mail provided you could pay for the post and item. Just shoot me a PM.

Zinc, lots of coffee, mucinex and plenty of the sudafed they make you sign for at the pharmacy!
It's tough to run a tube amp through headphones without adding a lot of gear. It also usually entails taking your signal off the output of the amp excluding the cab from the captured signal chain,...
Grant me the serenity
to accept the natural variations in wood that I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

I went with a Plek fret level on a Strat with a twisted neck because of the ability to remove material to "correct" the issues. Happy with how it turned out overall. Price was equivalent to what I...
Ouch. Can't say that hasn't crossed my mind.
Came to mind that PRSi refers to multiple guitars how about PRSf to refer to the forum? Might be a good inbetween for the guys that like text but not the word "forum"
Winner!!!!
That's a great way of explaining what I was thinking. You should be able to "hide" any text that you would want in the brush stroke using tone on tone in the etching process. Wouldn't be a fan of the...
Much like a boutique pedal builder.... many secrets can be covered in goop... or nitro!
How about one of the new brush stroke birds with PRS Forum 2013 discretely etched in to the strokes? I'm no artist, but I'm sure you get my drift.....
Got it, you're referencing the Phase II to Phase III conversion, not a Vintage Style McCarty replacement...... I have a Korina McCarty that one day will be on it's way to the PTC for some 408's and...
When they do this is additional material added to the headstock or tuner holes? Very interested.....
