I just went thru the same thing with mine. I widened the slots on the nut and added a fourth spring and problem solved.

Mike, looks awesome and you did a great job with the pics too. I wish I could take pics that good.
Hello all welcome to the forum.
Congrats. And welcome to the forum.:hello:
I agree this is my dream guitar.
I though this was a cool way to silence those vibrato springs. 3/16 rubber tubing inserted inside of springs. Don't know if it accually works well though. Anyone else try it?

Well that sucks! I bought my guitar two months too early. Oh well. I'm going to put my name in for the Experience Sweepstakes though.
I agree with Mike and I would add that if you decide to go used on The Bay, make sure it's a reputable seller and triple check the "return policy". I am always leary of spending that much money on...
PRSh @ Leitz Music in Panama City, Florida on June 4th from 4-6 PM
OK so I did some more filing on the nut of my SE CU24 and added a fourth spring and now it stays in tune when using the trem(even super dive bombs). but this is all due to me putting 10's on it. As...
It means that you have a quilted maple top.
I pretty much know what a "pattern" neck is but I can't explain it very well, so someone else will have to chime in on that one.
Hey Andy. Welcome to the forum. :hello:
Get on email list of every Prs dealer within an hour(or more) of you is my suggestion. Even if you will never shop or go there.
I scrolled down and read all the comments first and now I don't have the courage to go back and accually watch the video. Thanx for being "Guinie pigs". I feel like you all saved me from some...
I was just thinking the same thing yesterday. I would like that too. I do know that some people get on email lists of the local shops and hope the shop puts out an email reguarding so. But that is...
That's a very cool story. Congrats
Great story. Welcome John.
Congrats:congrats:. She will love that career field. Sounds exciting and rewarding.
I put EB cobalt 10's on my SE CU24. I had to take a little sandpaper to the E, A, and D (wound strings) slots just enough to make sure they moved thru the slot without binding up. Now I have to give...
BAM stands for Birds And Moons which is the old PRS forum that no longer exists. Members of that forum are referred to as "Bammers"
These guitars are pretty close in nature but I vote for the Tremonti Custom because it has the up-routed trem. If that is something that you don't want/like then stay with the 245 because other than...
Welcome to the forum Kristina.
Hello jkornel. welcome and glad you found the forum. This is an awesome forum. You'll love it
Oh...you mean, like this???
Yep, just like that. Cool video
Me too. I really like the Iron Man movies but I think If I could be a superhero, I'd want to be superman. Or "Guitar Man". And my guitar(which would come from the planet PRS) would shoot beaming...
