For once, I'm ecstatic not to have a clue what everyone's talking about. It's just like here, at home, with my wife and daughters...

lol I find that this general rule/state of mind makes my life easier and my serenity remain intact.
Hans--your credit cards are probably smoked, but maybe you saved the hassle of a new drivers license. This happened to me once, and I was glad to get the wallet itself back for some reason.
That seems reasonable to me. Similar to my hypothetical situation in my 1st post. There's a good amount of PS or 1-off type guitars there, so that seems just fine aside from a bit of bad timing and how it maybe looked to bystanders.
Again, I have ZERO knowledge of any situation that took place.
Hans, I'm glad you got your wallet back despite the lack of cash. I felt terrible for you when you lost it. Been there before and it sucks.
They found Ridge's wallet (sans money), in one of the shitters...

Glad to here you got your wallet back Hans...sorry bout the cash...my son actually found a woman's wallet the other day...he's 5...asked us to help him give it back to her...obviously she got it back cash and all...don't let the lack of cash get you down too much...there are still good people out there even though many times it doesn't seem like it...just remember to take time to track down any automatic charges you had being made to your cards in addition to canceling them...major PIA.
As to the other situation unfortunately wasn't there this year...so can't comment.

Hello Gents, I was the guy affected by said deal. First of all, I wanted to say a huge thanks to Chris. Really, he was just trying to help out and enable a friend. I am more than grateful for the opportunity even though it didn't pan out like I was expecting. Sure it was a bit disheartening, but oh well, I have moved on.
In 17 years of practice, I have yet to be in a naked ritual.
I am praying with the wrong crowd.![]()
