305 neck finish

Hi

I want to buy a 305, I went to my local dealer and I’ve tried a 2010 305 model white. The neck profile is Wide Fat and the finish is clear like the guitar body. I also tried a 2012 DC3 to compare but the neck finish is RAW I really dislike it. I don’t like the White color of the 305 and I want to ask my local dealer to order another 305 2012 but I really really don’t want to have the RAW finish. I don’t see this information on the web site as part of the specification.

Does the new 305 has the RAW finish or V12 ? Is it part of the options ?

At what specific date or serial number did you start to do V12 finish ?

During 2011 the 305 began to appear with v12 AND the new sunken in feeling lightly finished maple neck....steel bridge. I have one...it kills. Love it....I thought it was a huge improvement...but it may not be your bag...if that's the case get an older one.
