Something very basic is missing here. You're putting cart before horse.
Step One should be a Constitutional Convention. Why?
Because you have no framework of government upon which to base this election. You can't even agree on who is, or is not, eligible for office.
If you have a direct democracy, you don't need officers, everyone simply votes on everything. If you have a representative form of government, you need a framework upon which to run it, whether that framework is a "common law" Constitution, a la Britain, or a document like the US Constitution. In any case, the members of your club should agree on a set of rules to be followed, and then the meaning and interpretation of this compact between the People and the Government can be argued over bitterly ad infinitum.
To not have this document really empowers no one, plus you'll be missing half the fun.
