Still haven't pulled the pups out yet,should get on it.

I wanted a USA model since 1985 and decided to pull the trigger after picking up my new se cu24 (love it). I may notgo with the 3 way because I'm still on the fence about it.

Looking right now for a qualified luthier to do a.little wotk on it, maybe the 3 way and new pickups. Love the hfs sets....going to leave the black because it actually adds character.

Your cu24 looks great with the gold, love the.look of it.

Both the 5-way and the 3-way toggle w/push-pull tone pot have great pickup selections. Either way will give you nice single coil and humbucking tones. The HFS/VB combo is perfectly suited and splits well.

I like the black too, definitely a keeper!

Right the difference is only in what single-coil tones you desire. Personal choice.

Pulled the pickup out. It has dragon II pickups..woohoo lol

I didn't even notice but that is a 22 fretter. The Dragons are made for that guitar! Excellent pups.

Yes already have a se cu24 so didn't need to go that route. Pickups are very warm,not too much bite and not too much mellow.
