SE Singlecut question

I found a used SC with a nice flame top
but it has dot inlays !
VOlume tone and a 3-way
Sounded greatt
Should I buy it for 400 ?

That's an OK price, but nothing to write home about. I think you could find a 245 or a Bernie for a similar price, and they have better tone IMO. Plus the birds Then again, if it has a REALLY nice flame, that can be hard to come by on a SE if you're looking for something specific (most tops are good, a few are great).

You're right though - it wasnt a great top
Maybe I should negotiate a lower price?

Yeah, I would say $325-350 would be a nice deal. Not that $400 isn't fair, but everyone likes a good deal!

I'd much rather find a single cut trem than a bernie if I'm going to pay that much for a new one.
I can only find black, though, and the only other color is Blue ( which I cant seem to find )

The Bernie is one heck of a guitar! Don't rule it out unless you're specifically looking for trem equipped guitars.
