Hello all, Hanky here. I was a member some years ago and finally made it back. I have a limited edition 2008 1 of 100 jet white and gold SC245 I would love to learn more about if anyone has any info. I also have an artist package studio being built as we speak. Glad to be back in the fold.
Hi, just bought my first PRS a couple weeks ago, haven't put it down since I got it, I'm still holding the neck in my left hand while I type with the right. It's a new 2013 Custom 24 10 top in green fade, Brazillian rosewood fretboard, satin maple neck. I own many guitars, American Fenders and Gibsons and can say without hesitation this PRS is in a class by itself. All other guitars pale by comparison and can't compete, this is by far the best guitar made. I am so happy I am finally here. Anyone want to buy some Strats and Les Pauls? And thank you Paul for evolving the electric guitar!

Welcome all. See you around the forums.
Hi, new guy from South Jersey. Been playing for about 15 years and finally was able to afford my dream PRS a few years back. I decided to join to get more involved with the PRS community.
Hello All! Glad to be a part of the PRS family. Just a short history. Been playing guitar for about 35 years or so. My first exposure was a whale blue CE model around the 20002-ish timeframe that played as nice as it looked. After that, I was hooked. Fast forward up till today. I have several PRS's, they are: McCarty Hollow (with piezo), Goldtop Single cut SC-245, 2007 Custom 24, 2013 Custom 24. I'll push some pics up later today. All great instruments with their own unique qualities that I like. I had the priviledge of attending this years experience and all I can say is "wow!" Met some great people but didn't get their contact info so hoping to possibly do that through the forum. I finished a Master Certificate in Guitar from Berklee and teach at a local music store on the coast of North Carolina. I'm a blues cat all the way and use Mesa Boogie amps. However, after spending a couple days playing the amps at the experience, I'm looking at a custom 50 to complete my setup. - Dan
Hi PRS folks. I'm just a sax player that dabbles on guitar. been seriously thinking about the hollow body ii. played it at the store about once a month. read some reviews on line...little things like the new piezo pick-up is crisper then 3 yrs ago...something about a new nut recently...been very educational.
...i read one comment on the 22 frets vrs 24 frets. that 22 frets have the humbucker right at the 24th fret harmonic, which can take out the mids? or something along those lines? been looking to see if the hollow body ii comes in 24 frets, couldn't find that info.
so i thought i'd try the experts on their own site.
any thoughts on where to ask/search next? any thoughts on my few questions? i realize this thread probably isn't the right place for extensive questions, is there a thread already there for someone one like me?

Thank you for the welcome!~
What's up, Rodney Gene? Welcome!
I guess I should introduce myself. I just realized my first post was today. Which is odd because I thought I had posted here before. Unless I am confused with how much I posted at birds&moons. That was quite some time ago.
My name over there was jmbstudios. RiverRat now.
