PRS tuner holes
Iīm building a guitar that I plan on having PRS phase lll locking tuners in. I havenīt purchased the tuners yet, but I have to drill the tuner holes in the headstock to be able to advance on my build.
So my question is...does ANYONE know what size hole I need to drill in the headstock to get the tuners to fit? Is it just a standard 10mm hole or does the Phase lllīs require a different size?
I can't answer your question but in life its always best to always wait until you have your parts on hand before you drill holes in anything, because stated dimensions, your measured-from-stated dimensions, and dimensions of the actual part received may always vary. If you're at the point where you HAVE to drill tuner holes to advance, you're at the point where you HAVE to have the hardware to advance as well.
Concur. Measure twice, drill once...wait until you get parts in hand. Measure them and you'll absolutely know how large the holes need to be. Manufacturing tolerances will vary...
