It's Friday here now, I get disappointed because I think "Private Stock Friday!" and then I realise I'm in the wrong time zone.
Not really Private Stock and not yet Friday (for me) but I thought this was interesting. Here are some 16/4" mahogany slabs. These are big ol' hunks of wood.

It always amazes me to see wood that thick without any cracks in it.

It's really hard taking photos of guitars and not giving away any secrets:
Floyd Shultz, master carver, sent in this carved owl head. Apparently it was not up to his standards because the back say "false start". I would be thrilled to create something half as good, the detail is just amazing.
