One word of caution about that piece of wood and similar crazy fingerboard woods and inlays. Having owned more than my share of guitars over the years, crazy wood all over looks GREAT to me, but crazy wood on the fingerboard, as well as tree of life inlays and other busy patterns, can confuse you (me) while playing. When I am on auto pilot, I dont even look at the guitar neck, but when I am really pushing, I do, and I need to know exactly where I am at all times. Wild patterns on the fretboard flat out throw me off for a split second, and that spells mistakes. Just a heads up, and it may not effect anyone other than me! It sure would LOOK cool however.
With millions of guitar players on the planet, it's hard to find something truly unique, but PS has some alternative woods that sure look cool!
The interesting thing about life is that it is utterly preposterous.

Come on, come on, it's Friday here already!
Man, I came so close to bagging that double neck!! Going to me a monster!!!
Great looking stuff. That double neck is going to be incredible. Really digging that pink/purple color.
Stunning as usual!! Some of those woods are incredible!
Great PS Friday as usual Shawn! Thanks for all that you do!!!
Thanks again Shawn. Incredible. As usual.

This is a weird PS Friday for me. My Orange Glow SC shipped to Willcutt's this week, so for the first time since April of 2012, I do not have a Private Stock in the oven. How did that happen?!?
So opening the thread today didn't come with the usual butterflies of anticipation of one of my guitars showing up here. Weird!!
I guess I need to schedule another trip to rectify that situation!
But, today did yield another nice surprise. I was out in San Fran this week, doing a conference for work, but also a gig, my corporate band was the entertainment for the official conference cocktail party. It was great fun. The surprise was boarding the plane today, who do I see on the same flight? Paul himself. He seemed pleased to hear that I had a PRS Private Stock with me. He is slumming it back in coach, LOL, but I made sure his guitar found a nice home up here in First.
Our flight is delayed, I hope he makes his connection okay!
