What bass accessories are you getting?

For those of you who are jumping at getting an SE Kingfisher (What I have on order) or the Kestrel, what do you plan on buying to go along with it?
I did not have any bass amps, so I have two showing up tomorrow.
A Hartke A70, and a Roland Microcube Bass RX.

Also got a pad to isolate the bass so it will not vibrate the floor (thanks Sergio!)
    Auralex GRAMMA
    Amplifier/Loudspeaker Isolation Riser

I am a believer in using a device call The String Cleaner, I have one for every one of my guitars, and today I ordered the bigger one for bass guitars.

So lets hear it, what are you getting in anticipation for your new SE bass guitar?

Cory, Just wondering what perceived advantage the string cleaner has over using a $1.00 microfiber cloth ? Also, why would you need a different one for each guitar?

The big advantage of The String Cleaner is it gets all sides of the strings, when you use a cloth, you basically are only wiping down the tops of the strings.

I have one for each guitar so the device does not get as dirty trying to clean all of my guitars, and it will be less wear and tear on the device.

I truly believe using this is why I do not have to change my strings that often.

That String Cleaner seems like a nifty little gadget that saves you a few seconds of time, though you could wrap the corner of a cloth around each string and do them one at a time with the same effectiveness. Makes sense to have one for each guitar to just be able to throw it in the accessory compartment of a case or gig bag, and not have to go searching for the darn thing when you need it.

The issue I have with it is that I'd no doubt bang up the finish between the pickups putting it on, and that would bug me. But heck, we all have different little guitar gadgets that we use because they suit us.

Fortunately, I can easily get 6-7 months from a set of strings with no noticeable issues because my hands are dry. I change them more often, simply in the theory that newer strings are smoother where they hit the frets, and in theory that might help with fret wear.

In any case, I'm good with a simple microfiber cloth.

Les, no problem with the device hitting the wood between the pickups as it rides high enough above the body.
I have used these hundreds of times now with no issues.

I too have dry hands, never had a rusted set of strings from playing.

Oh, I'd scratch things up just putting it on the strings in its open position. I'm too fussy to let that happen, so I do it the old fashioned, one string at a time, bonehead way.

    Now two weird things.
I ordered the bass String Cleaner Friday, and I got an email from Amazon yesterday it would be delivered Sunday via the Post Office.
I thought yeah right, no Sunday deliveries.
Then I got a text from Amazon earlier saying it was on the vehicle, then later it had been delivered.

For kicks I walked to my mailbox and it was there!
Neighbor said the mail truck had come by earlier and delivered others mail too.
Since when did the Post Office start delivering on Sunday?

Also the package the Bass String Cleaner came in said it also cleans the fret boards.
Now with my others for the guitars, it is plastic on the bottom.
Sure enough, they also have the microfiber surface on the bottom now too so when you drag it back and forth locked into your strings, the fretboard also now gets a wipe down.
I wonder if they have done this too for the guitar versions, or just the bass one?
