    For anyone on the fence,
I've both types of wingys and the Phase IIs. I think I like my non-shared-screw wingy tuners better, until I change strings on my AP cu22 with Phase IIs, its so fast and easy I suddenly don't care about those cool looking wings anymore. Especially if you're on stage. I feel like tuning resolution is noticeably better too. The shared-screw wingys I've owned were so rough, comparatively, I'd be falling over myself to get this mod done to them, original or not...
The work is reversible if all the parts are saved.

You'll have to send the guitar to the PRS Tech Center.

If we (I) send Phase I Winged Tuners to you at the PTC will you convert the inside parts to phase 2 or 3 parts? It seems like that is what the video above shows. If so how much would that cost? My Winged Tuners are starting to slip and I would prefer a drop in replacement - really don't want to drill holes.

The conversion is to phase II, I believe. You should go to http://prsguitars.com/ptc/ and submit the form for an estimate.

That link lists the price for the PTC conversion.
