    Faded Blue Jean... Whats your take?

    Satin Finish on the ME1
    or
    Glossy Finish on the ME2

    How about some pics and preferences from you guys....

    Here is a ME1 that I bought from 11 Top, eventually sold to Garrett Park Guitars..

    I think it is a great color either way, but I've kept mine satin.

    I love the look of satin, but I prefer my guitars glossy. I can't seem to bond with satin guitars and I want to badly. I feel so weird!

    Satin guitars just look like they aren't finished yet (ba-dump-bump).

    No, really - they look to me like they aren't done... But they sure play nice. It's a conundrum.

    Glossy. Blue is a color I just don't "get" on guitars or cars, but I like pink so what do I know?

    I love the Satin look. I think it makes them look so classy and like a piece of art.

    I GREATLY prefer gloss. It enhances the figure, adds depth, and makes it pop. However, I like the lighter color of faded blue jean with satin, which is why I haven't glossed any of my FBJ ME1s.

    I think that faded BJ modern eagle 1 looks outstanding. Not that the other does not, but it just says modern eagle to me.

    FBJ=satin...my Dirty100 also has a satin finish that I love....come to think of it one of the best sounding Les Pauls I have ever played wasn't a R series....it was a standard in satin faded tobacco burst...I stupidly sold it....still kick myself for it today.

    Honestly still hoping to find another ME1 FBJ with Trem, but I like the wide flames....

    I normally like GLOSS but that satin one is a real beauty - as others have said, it's something special.
