    Pinup Paintings / Decals

I know you can buy these many places and in many ready-made designs. Lots of guys put them on their guitars. Does anyone know where you can have a custom one painted for a reasonable price? I would like to have someone make me one using some photos of my wife as the model and my imagination for the details.

If you have a good printer you can do it yourself. Just buy some water slide transfer paper. Or you may be able to get a kinkos-type of store to print your design.

Right. I've got photographs and need someone who can turn them into a "pinup" type drawing/painting. This sort of thing:

You should check with some of your local tattoo shops. Surely there's an artist that would help you and what you're shooting for is pretty much what any good tattoo artist can do...

I've always wanted to do something like this as well...I dig the Vargas Girl approach...if I were gonna do it I think I would want it on a Seafoam green, Olympic white, or a sonic blue guitar...actually as long as it was a solid bright vibrant color I think it would work for me...although now having seen Shawn's and Jamie's it looks equally as awesome on a more subtle background.

BTW really dig the ones above!

Yup. It's really nice, until you realize that the woman who posed for that is now in her 80s...or older...
