Finish on the new Paul's Guitar - any more details?

So what's this "new proprietary finish" then? V12 based? Nitro based?

I think I may be in for a PRSG...

I am, but I like new stuff I seem to have the same tastes as Paul, so it's a safe bet I'll like the PRSG. The only deal breaker for me may be the finish - I'm not a fan of the V12 as it's not tactile enough for me.

Can anyone shed some more light on it?

Now NAMM's here, are there any more details of the new finish? It's thinner again I believe, so is it just a thinner V12?

Is the expression, "spit and polish" also used in England?

    So yeah, it's that.
