    Steely Dan inquiry

    How can I get the sound of the guitar solo on "Do It Again" and what scales would be good to practice for this one? Aoelian?

    I thought you would be an expert on this subject, didn't you used to own a Steely Dan repair shop?

    I never heard of one referred to as a "steely dan,' but I can see how it might work...

    Sounds like a Coral electric sitar.
    I de-modded my CU22 soapbar and made a factory spec setup.Im in love again.I very much believe now PRS guitars are perfect as they are.

    Ahhh The Naked Lunch..great read!Actually our flagship model was the Homewrecker 5000.

    Just finished it last year. One of the more surrrealistic reads I've ever attempted. Not quite as deranged as "Finnigans Wake"....but close.

    Man I tried so hard to get through Finnegans Wake, even got the Joseph Campbell "Skeleton Guide" too! "Face It, He's Really Not That Into You" was an easier and more enjoyable read.
