    Design on a Dimebag.

Zero budget, Rattle Cans, in a one bedroom apartment, freezing weather, ten day time period to get painted and polyed, while moving out of said apartment. Yes, I am doing it wrong thanks for letting me know but I've been doing things wrong for awhile.

    Enjoy.

Got this in a box, the head will be sold/traded for the remainder of the budget.

The body was covered in a THICK faux flame maple-type substance that chipped off. I got the guitar this way, I have no idea what it was or what the guy who did this was thinking. That said: No judgements from me, if you own a guitar it is your to do what you wish with it.

    Blue goo chunks.

More in the neck pocket, as thick as a penny!

what the? If a thin finish is better for tone, that thing probably sounded like a wet sock!

Masked and painted in living room in front of open window. It is 9 degrees outside, and now drying in a warm bathroom.

It very well may have, I did not get a chance to play it assembled. It seems a few people have started this project and bailed, however I am diligent and will not rest until I paint every blue PRS in the world.

Yes sir, with that thick blue "goo" that simulated flame maple. I have never seen anything so thick on any guitar.

    It's looking good Sergio

Are you leaving it white, or is there more to come?

I'm on the fence, but I'm leaning towards white w/ natural back. Initially I wanted Gold Top/ White back, but some personal issues have sped up my time table. Unless you could point me to a source for that bangin' MD faux Louis Vuitton print!

I'm pretty sure it was turquoise, I'll check after I peel the tape off the Modcat.

That would make a good base for a nice gold top.

Thanks Jon, if I have any left over spray paint I can send it your way.

That was my initial plan, maybe for round two.

Due to the incredible generosity of our forum membership my plans continue to evolve and change by the hour. I can't say how "blessed" I am to be involved with you fellows, and I rarely use such terminology lightly. Thank you all for the positive reinforcement, it is starting to make this guitar even more special to me.
