Spent my life in NY/DC but my journey has taken me to Delaware, which is a pretty boring state. Most folks here like it that way. It's the home of the three C's--corporations, chemicals and chickens. In fact, the local saying is that there are more chickens than people in Delaware.

The flag was taken from the Calvert family coat of arms. George Calvert was the first Lord of Baltimore and received a land grant from King James I of England.

That's the orange and black part. The red and white pard is from the Crosslands coat of arms, Calvert's mother's family...

We are a retirement county and a bedroom county for Baltimore, DC and the Secret Green Building at Ft George G. Meade. So secret - there aren't any pictures of it...

I know about chicken farms in Delaware. I went to HS at a boarding school in Delaware that was downwind sometimes from a chicken farm that was maybe a mile away. Not a pleasant experience. Good school, though.

The surrounding town is a lot bigger now than it was when I was there.

I'm from Oneonta, AL, population 15,000. We have a Walmart, a high school, and then oddly, the #1 public golf course in the state. I think my guitars are the coolest thing in this city haha. I currently live in Tuscaloosa and attend the University of Alabama, so a larger place than home. I need to travel more haha.

A lot of videos have been showing the Darvaza Gas Crater in Turkmenestein as the impact site.

Wiki - The Derweze area is rich in natural gas. While drilling in 1971, Soviet geologists tapped into a cavern filled with natural gas.The ground beneath the drilling rig collapsed, leaving a large hole with a diameter of 230 feet. To avoid poisonous gas discharge, it was decided the best solution was to burn it off.Geologists had hoped the fire would use all the fuel in a matter of days. It is still burning. Locals have dubbed the cavern "The Door to Hell".
