    OK, I will speak up.

I think this could be a very gimmicky, everything-but-the-kitchen-sink, of a guitar. Jack of all trades and master of none. Well, except that you forgot to include MIDI...

What's it going to do well? Will the pickups even sound good with the neck wood? No one's heard it. Will a piezo with a trem mate well with the pickups and scale length? No one knows.

I gotta believe that Paul Smith does a little more product development than "Ooo, this sounds like it'd be cool" when designing guitars.

If it was a straightforward production model, perhaps with a special inlay, or one special feature, at least we'd know what we're in for. But this is a mishmash of stuff. Great for a player who has the bases covered and doesn't mind taking a flyer.

I'm not knocking adventure, but I'm still working on finding truly great sounding, basic guitars. Too big a risk for me. By the way, the Mira with the big fat 57/08 up front sounds like it'd be cool.

If something is too hard to do, then it's not worth doing. You just stick that guitar in the closet next to your short-wave radio, your karate outfit and your unicycle and we'll go inside and watch TV.

I'll be honest I'm not crazy about the DC 22 body but seeing that picture of one in black with a single P90 defintely peeks my interest. So I will say 10 depending on price

Irrelevant question. Anyone from Europe, or another "banned area" can have their guitar hand delivered by me, so long as they pay for transporation. As a "traveling guitar" it would not be exposed to import bans, since I would "just be taking it with me on vacation".

No need to thank me guys...just doing my share to assist with the forum.

nice of you to volunteer to do jail time for our international members. Just one thing, once you are in jail for the first one, who is going to smuggle the rest of them overseas?

Can we have a more regular control/electronics layout on this?

I'm not a huge fan of the controls on the DC22 models...

I want #14........... But I cannot do 408's and I am somewhat price dependent not having an unlimited slush fund.........but do reserve the right to buy one anyway if it does come down to a 408 guitar if the rest of the spec is special enough.....truth is I have to see what is for sale before I can commit....hope that is not too vague an answer........

also just looked at the latest posts......the DC controls with the switch and two knobs all close are not my favorite, vote for a more traditional layout.......

Well, duh - that's his alibi! "Why no, officer, I didn't leave it in Europe, I just shipped it home ahead of time. In fact, I'm taking it with me to Canada in two weeks - would you like to check my reservation?"

Seriously...all kidding aside...if someone owns a BRW neck PRS...and travels to Europe with it....and happens to leave it there....ostensibly for repair, or for a friend to borrow...or whatever.....are you saying that this is a criminal offense??? Not importing it, but bringing it into the country for a friend to "borrow"....again, all kidding aside, and regardless of the "hidden agenda".....is this really an actionable offense? If it is, I really want to rescind my offer. Can't afford to spend another 20 years of my life in jail. The first 20 in the Federal Pen in Leavenworth seemed to take forever.
