Richard Williams from Kansas sent his guitar to the PTC for some TLC.
He's been rocking this Custom since 1986.

Richard's guitar has seen many different pickups, but he just went with a set of old school zebra 59/09's

In the "before" shot the guitar has a 2-piece bridge. I am left thinking he wore out the knife edge on the original bridge?
Nice to see a vintage PRS getting that much stage time.

Junior Marvin stopped in today. Junior was the guitar player for the Wailers back in the day. What an absolutely delightful person.
He told us stories of the old days and even played a little for us. "Exodus" was the first album he did with the Wailers 1977 and in 1978 he performed in the "One Love Concert" in Jamaica. This is the famous concert where Bob Marely showed the bullet wounds to the crowd and then brought both candidates on stage in an effort to create some unity amonst the Jamaican people.
This wasn't a bad day at work!

Bangin'! I don't get star-struck too often but I probably would have fainted. I like how he started riffing on "Heathen" at the end of the video, I love that dudes "little" guitar parts... a total legend in my eyes.
